Brian Brown

Brian has been in the beer, wine and spirits business for more than 15 years. He has been a retailer, a wholesaler and gourmet grocery, beer & wine shop owner. He has turned his passion into a career. He has a proven track record as a favorite merchant who listens and matches customers with items they love, not necessarily just what he likes.
He lived for a while in Oregon's Willamette Valley where his wife worked for a family owned Yamhill County winery. They were able to spend a lot of time visiting vineyards and attending beer and wine festivals.
Brian loves to cook and can talk food and drink with anyone. He is well versed on how beer, wine and spirits relate to food. He makes great recipe suggestions and can recommend cooking techniques. He is an expert in pairing food with wine and beer and feels lucky to have a strong background in the finer things while remaining down to earth and approachable.
Feel free to stop in or give him a call for a great beer or wine recommendation.

Joe Walsh
Bitter-beer-face. Remember the commercials of a certain watery domestic macro-beer? What could be more bothersome than bitter beer? I remember my first beer. It was safe, or in other words, boring. Attempting to branch out led me to imports, aka exotic boredom. Then a bottle by the name of Arrogant Bastard walked into my life. A friendship blossomed that continues to this day. Leave the book learning for the guys needing fancy titles. I'm a regular Joe who finds pleasure in beer and as such I have ventured into the neighborhood of 700+ different beers. The quest is reward in itself. Having survived, it only seems fair I pass along what I learned from my quaffing.
Still, I’m not an expert. I don’t brew beer. I don’t seek out limited releases to trade for other rare specimens across the country. A cicerone I am not. Beer geek? That one is just offensive. Beer is as diverse and beautiful as any painting I’ve yet seen and better yet, consumable. My favorite beers match my personality: bitter, complex and absurd. I know what I like because it makes my heart flutter and my soul dance, not because style guidelines tell me. I’m here to help you receive that same gospel. Come up to my store to see why so many people keep coming back. Is it the beer, or is it me?
